I offer bookkeeping and accounting services remotely using cloud accounting software to sole traders and small companies (T/O up to 300K) . Primarily I work with XERO cloud accounting software as I am a Xero Partner and certified advisor with bronze status which enables me to acquire and offer clients subscriptions at a discounted rates. Despite my partnership allegiance with Xero, I am able to work with other providers of cloud accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Sage, FreshBooks and Wave. My knowledge and skills have been gained through working for nearly 30 years in a variety of accounting and bookkeeping roles across wide range of industry sectors types using a wide variety of accounting systems and processes. I have worked in practice, the private sector, the public sector and the charity sector. My base and office is in Atlantic House on Portland overlooking Osprey Quay and across Portland Harbour to Wyke and Weymouth and therefore ideally placed to assist businesses to get going, thrive and grow. I like to create working relationships with clients, where it is like being in a team, but my role or input is largely hidden in the background. Using a coast related analogy, what with being sited on the coast and near the sea, I will be the engineer and individual in the engine room (Finance and Administration) of the boat rather than being the captain or navigator at the helm (the boardroom making the decisions and giving the direction). That is how I like to regarded by any future clients that may want to employ my services. I not only offer discounts for any client who pay advance 6 month or annual retainers but will also offering exclusively to any WPCC members on presentation of their Chamber Club Card, a further £50 discount should they commit to a 6 moths plus term of engagement (not necessary to pay up front retainer). My fees are reasonable but they not determined by time spent but are either determined by a set percentage between 2% and 3% of predicted/current annual turnover or by individual job quote as I believe businesses like to have a good idea of what their costs are going to be in advance.
