Breakfast meeting – “The effect of Covid-19 from a business recovery perspective”
President Craig welcomed attendees at the October breakfast zoom meeting. Members discussed some points raised by Adrian Imrie prior to the meeting namely the Co-Working Spaces survey seen in our news; pedestrianisation of the harbour and its effects – which gained a vote of confidence; and the 10pm pub curfew issues which members acknowledged had issues on all sides.
Many thanks to Albert Goodman for sponsoring our October Breakfast meeting and thanks to Matt Reeds for his presentation of which the pdf is available in these links. Matt Reeds presentation full pdf
Matt made many points on survival and revival and stressed the importance of a business plan, management accounts and cashflow forecasts, now more than ever. He also emphasised the importance of technology and cloud accounting in today’s climate.
