Second Wave – COVID-19 Tourism Business Barometer Survey for the Dorset Tourism and Hospitality Industry
The Visit Dorset tourism teams are now issuing the second wave of our Tourism Business Barometer survey. The aim of this second wave is to gain further evidence on the status of your tourism business, gather your feedback and reaction to the latest measures announced by government and use this data to work in collaboration, across Dorset to ensure the development of a co-ordinated recovery strategy.

The first wave results have already been used to respond to the call for evidence on the impact of Covid-19 on tourism businesses from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). Data will also be used as oral evidence to the Government Tourism Panel later this week, ensuring the issues facing Dorset’s tourism businesses are represented.
The deadline to respond to this Second Wave survey is 5pm Wednesday 20th May. This second wave has been adapted to reflect the next stages of information that we need, so please continue to complete the survey and feedback to us so that we can ensure that the range of issues that you face are raised at government level.
